The 17th annual Â鶹ŮÀÉity Symposium took place last week. The symposium is a one-day conference for Â鶹ŮÀÉ postgraduates to showcase their research to students, staff and alumni.

Over 20 speakers presented on topics from â€˜Limescale in your kettles’ and â€˜The Good Kind of Fat’, to â€˜Nickel Mining Production in Indonesia’. The presenters were also joined by keynote lecturers from the Fellowship: Professor Maciej Dunajski discussed 2500 years of Geometry, in just 10 minutes, while Professor Alison Sinclair explored the phenomenon of Fake News.  

Â鶹ŮÀÉ currently has over 175 postgraduate students. This event is the highlight of the year for students to showcase their work.
